DECA Independent Business Plan

My second year competing in DECA Business Competitions, I participated in the Independent Business Plan. This project tasked me to develop a proposal for the start of a new business. I had to write a 30-page paper and present my plan in front of a panel of judges. I came up with Pure Chill, a salad and smoothie lounge designed for youth to socialize and eat healthy. I created a logo, brand image, and marketing techniques. I also worked on the financials for startup costs and profits and margins for the first 5 years. This in turn led to me to create a loan proposal for the judges.

Placed 1st in New York State and competed at the international competition.
