Finite Element Analysis

I primarily use SolidWorks for FEA because I use it for CAD, but I have experience using COMSOL, ANSYS, and Abaqus. I worked in ANSYS when testing engines for Caterpillar.

For Projcect Hexapod, I used FEA to analyze the stresses in the cables and the structure for lightweighting.	Using ANSYS, I analysed where the least amount of stress on the gear was in order to remove unnecessary material.	For a research project at Stony Brook, I analyzed the way different Negative Poisson's Ratio structures reacted to a force for the use in bullet proof vests. I used COMSOL for this project
